If you own a kayak, canoe or dingy…dust it off and haul it out of the backyard. Tonight is the annual Lighted Boat Parade in Petaluma and we need more representation in the human-powered boat category. Hope to see you there!
It was great to see so many people shopping-it-up in downtown Petaluma this weekend. If there is any benefit from the economic recession we are in, it’s seeing people re-prioritize where they spend their hard earned dollars!
Thought y’all might want to have a chance to get in on the fun this weekend! The NorCal High School Mountain Bike League is having its annual fundraiser gala dinner on Saturday night. Jonathan Vaughters from Garmin Slipstream is our guest of honor and there are still a few tickets left. Wow, what a season! We had a great time (photos coming soon!). We were lucky enough to coordinate several green weddings. We were thrilled to help Bike Monkey with Levi Leipheimer’s Gran Fondo. Again, we were super duper excited to work with Vintage European Posters on their annual VIP poster show. And we finished our season with a fabulous Nor-Cal Coach’s conference. We’re now giddy in our preparations for 2010. We promise to be better about updating the blog!

Recently we were showing a wonderful venue to a client, Dawn Ranch Lodge, in Guerneville. While walking about, our bride said, “I love this place! It’s Wedding Camp!” She’s right. Having a wedding at one location for a weekend of fun and adventure is a memorable and significant experience.

Yep, wedding camp… it’s my new favorite!
My favorite Sonoma County event is the simplest: friends, a basket of fabulous local food, and a bottle of delicious wine. To me, it doesn’t get sweeter! My good friend Susie started a picnic club with a few friends (me included) a few years back. It’s the best club I’ve ever been a part of! The first Saturday of every month was “Picnic Saturday.” Always a themed potluck, this Saturday was hands-down the best day of the month.
So take my advice and start a picnic club with your friends ASAP. The first Saturday is only two weeks away, so send out your evites now.

Clementine has been spending a lot of time considering upcoming weddings. We’re dusting off old plans, looking at new trends, and gearing up for a wonderful season. Last year we were lucky to work with one couple in particular who insisted on having a radically unique wedding experience. From invitations, to dress, to cake, to music, everything represented them. It was an incredible and memorable evening. In large part to this experience, Clementine is striving to make all wedding productions this year about capturing the unique qualities of the couple and exhibiting them throughout the event.
Congratulations to our boy Levi Leipheimer for his third consecutive win of the Tour of California! We are in awe of Levi’s dedication, perseverance and talent. Hopefully his win inspires more Californians to get out there on their bicycles!
